Seven Steps To Managing Your Memory
This is a presentation by Dr. Andrew Budson, Professor of Neurology at BU School of Medicine and Medical Director of the Boston Center for Memory in Newton, MA that supports the recent publishing of his book. Dr. Budson takes seniors through what is normal and what is not; what they can do about it, and he explains in terms that seniors can understand.
As you age, you may find yourself worrying about your memory. Where did I put those car keys? What time was my appointment? What was her name again? With more than 41 million Americans over the age of 65 in the United States, the question becomes how much (or, perhaps, what type), of memory loss is to be expected as one gets older and what should trigger a visit to the doctor. Dr. Budson addresses these key concerns and more.
The Providence House will provide a delicious brunch and sponsor a giveaway of 5 signed books during the presentation. Seniors can purchase additional copies if they wish.
Come to meet Pat Park, a representative of the Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol, and enjoy brunch while participating in a discussion on how to prevent, detect, and report healthcare errors, fraud, and abuse.
